Registering A Domain Name For Your Blog Tech
The first step to start a tech blog is to decide the domain name of the site. Behind every website has an IP address and thank you for the Domain Name System (DNS), one can easily write a web address, like yahoo.com instead of referring to 209.131.36.159. Watch this approach under the command prompt in Windows machine, click Start -> Run – cmd.exe> and type ping yahoo.com. Think of the Internet DNS address book – instead of phone calls, using 10-digit number that you are using a contact list of what those numbers for your convenience.
Now that we have a basic understanding of what a field means it’s time to decide on the name of your blog tech. Web developers want to argue with long lengths of the importance of choosing the right domain name, but I think a good starting mass is to use Google Trends. By examining trends Google, you’ll be able to get a basic idea of search volume for your niche. Let’s face it, most of us will not be able to develop a tech blog like Gizmodo or Engadget for ourselves or we have time to pump tens of articles per day to compete with their mail volumes. In case you’re focused on creating the next Engadget or Gizmodo, I’ll tell you that you need a team of authors, as an area that all blogs successfully agree on the importance of content precious. Produced content to create the volume of mail is one of the biggest mistakes first time bloggers will, I myself was a victim of this when I first started my own blog.
So what should I call my tech blog? Well for starters, put yourself in the shoes of someone trying to get information about your niche. What type of content being served? For example, if I wanted to create a tech blog focused on laptops, I would start thinking about my own experience on the subject. Say for example I had a heavy base for technical support and hardware upgrades for laptops. My niche is expected to focus on the types of laptops, I have the experience, which in this case is the Windows-based laptops. Since my knowledge is based on the repair and field support that I would choose would include the following requirements: Windows, laptop repair, support, updates, Microsoft, Vista, XP, Windows 7 In searching for these terms in Google Trends I will decide depending on the conditions giving the greatest amount of research.
